In the eighth DEVLOG for Autobahn Police Simulator 4, we’re taking a look today at the little things and the routine in a police officer’s life.
After all, there’s much more to the game than just following missions and completing tasks. For example, radio calls come in to your patrol car, alerting you to events, incidents, and accidents. There are broken-down vehicles on the Autobahn that can quickly become a hazard. Head to the location mentioned in the radio call and resolve such issues.
If something seems odd or suspicious on the Autobahn, conduct a traffic stop. Pull over vehicles, inspect the vehicle’s systems and the driver, and figure out how an accident might have occurred. And don’t forget to file a report right away.
Patrol the Autobahn and also check gas stations and rest stops—not least because you can buy delicious pancakes there; after all, you’ve got to eat well.
But you also have the option to park your patrol car on the side of the road and keep an eye out for violations or problems. To do this, use a function from the menu. Now you can see if a passing vehicle is causing trouble. You decide which vehicles to stop and how the check will proceed. Check if there are any issues with the vehicle and if everything is OK with the driver.
And sometimes they’re just driving too fast! And sometimes it has to be a donut!
We’ve prepared a short video for you that shows some of these features. Unfortunately, we can’t reveal everything yet, but there will also be a DEVLOG next week.
But please remember to do your job as a police officer properly. Incorrect tickets, flawed checks, or misconduct will have consequences in the game—and not all of them will be to your liking!

DEVLOG #8 – Routine und Aufgaben
Im achten DEVLOG zu Autobahn Polizei Simulator 4 werfen wir heute einen Blick auf die kleinen Dinge und die Routine im Leben eines Polizisten.
Denn im Spiel gibt es viel mehr, als nur Missionen folgen und Aufgaben erledigen. Beispielsweise erreichen Funkrufe deinen Streifenwagen und liefern dir Events, Aktionen und Unfälle. Es gibt liegen gebliebene Fahrzeuge auf der Autobahn, die schnell zu Gefahr werden können. Begib dich zum Ort der Funkmeldung und löse solche Probleme.
Kommt dir auf der Autobahn etwas komisch oder verdächtig vor, dann starte eine Verkehrskontrolle. Stoppe Fahrzeuge und kontrolliere Technik, den Fahrer und finde heraus wie ein Unfall entstehen konnte. Und vergiss nicht, direkt einen Bericht zu schreiben.
Fahre Streife auf der Autobahn und kontrolliere auch Tankstellen und Raststätten, nicht zuletzt kann man dort leckere Pfannkuchen erwerben, man muss ja schließlich lecker essen.
Aber du hast auch die Möglichkeit deinen Streifenwagen am Rand der Strasse zu parken und nach Verstößen oder Problemen Ausschau zu halten. Dazu nutzt du eine Funktion aus dem Menü. Nun kannst du sehen, ob ein vorbei fahrendes Fahrzeug problematisch ist. Du entscheidest, welche Fahrzeuge du stoppst und wie die Kontrolle verläuft. Prüfe ob es mit dem Fahrzeug Probleme gibt und ob mit dem Fahrer alles OK ist.
Und manchmal fahren sie auch einfach zu schnell! Und manchmal muss es ein Donut sein!
Wir haben für euch ein kleines Video vorbereitet, das euch einige dieser Funktionen zeigt. Alles können wir leider noch nicht verraten, aber auch in der kommenden Woche wird es ein weiteres DEVLOG geben.
Aber denkt bitte daran eure Arbeit als Polizist ordentlich zu erledigen. Falsche Strafzettel, fehlerhafte Kontrollen oder Fehlverhalten werden im Spiel Konsequenzen haben und nicht alle werden euch gefallen!
