In previous DEVLogs, we’ve provided you with new images and information. Today, we’ve got more images for you – this time in video form.
We’ve received a lot of feedback about the patrol cars over the last few days. Questions have included how getting in and out works this time round, whether the blue light stays on, whether the lights continue to flash, and whether the vehicle’s engine keeps running.
In the upcoming Autobahn Police Simulator 4, you’ll have the chance to decide this for yourself. Are you on the motorway and need the blue light to warn other road users? Or have you stopped a vehicle and are safely parked in a car park? You decide whether you still need the blue lights.
Not much has changed when it comes to getting in and out of the vehicle. One press of a button and you’re in or out. The blue light stays on immediately after you get out. So far, so normal.
What is new, however, is the option to switch the blue light off immediately upon getting out. To do this, press the ‘get out’ button a little longer and everything is off.
A small feature with a big impact. One press of a button. And please bear in mind that there are different times of day in the game, as this affects the blue lights and when they become visible to other road users.

Devlog 4 – Einsteigen, Aussteigen und die Lichter am Streifenwagen
In den vorherigen DEVLogs haben wir euch mit neuen Bildern und Infos versorgt. Heute kommen weitere Bilder, dieses Mal in bewegter Form auf euch zu.
Wir haben in den letzten Tagen viel Feedback über die Streifenwagen bekommen. Wie denn dieses Mal das Aus- und Einsteigen geregelt ist, ob das Blaulicht an bleibt, ob die Lichter weiter leuchten und ob der Motor des Fahrzeugs weiter läuft.
Im kommenden Autobahn Polizei Simulator 4 hast du die Möglichkeit, das selbst zu entscheiden. Du bist auf der Autobahn und du brauchst das Blaulicht um den Verkehr zu warnen? Oder du stoppst ein Fahrzeug und stehst sicher auf einem Parkplatz? Du entscheidest ob du Blaulicht noch brauchst.
Beim Ein- und Aussteigen hat sich nicht viel geändert. Ein Tastendruck und du steigst ein und aus. Dabei bleibt das Blaulicht direkt beim Aussteigen an. Soweit so normal.
Neu hingegen ist die Funktion, das Blaulicht beim Aussteigen direkt auszuschalten. Dazu drückst du die Taste zum Aussteigen etwas länger und schon ist alles aus.
Eine kleine Funktion mit großer Wirkung. Ein Tastendruck. Und denkt bitte daran, dass es im Spiel mehrere Tageszeiten gibt, denn es macht einen Unterschied für die Blaulichter und ab wann der Verkehr sie sehen kann.
